That was quite an event in American sports history wasn't it?
Truth be told though,
it wasn't a miracle at all. The Olympic Gold won by the U.S. Men's
Hockey
team was a
result of the hard work, determination, sportsmanship, and
supreme effort by the
Players, Coaches, and their Team Staff, as well as the Ice
Hockey Officials who worked
the
Olympic Tournament and called the games with skill and
professionalism.
For the officials, working their way "to the
top of their careers" so to speak began very
early in
their careers, and along the way, local Officiating
Associations helped them
become the skilled,
confident Referees they were then, and are
now, in today's' advanced
sports leagues.
As my way to help that process, and to give back and help improve our local Youth Hockey games for
players,
officials,
and fans,
ten percent of my commissions from all closed transactions are
donated
to the Colorado
Ice Hockey Referee Association’s Youth Official Development
and
Improvement programs.
In that vein, and with a part-time career in Ice Hockey Officiating, one of the niche markets

many subdivisions surrounding our Local and Mountain-Area Rinks
and
Recreation
